In this lesson, you’ll learn all about using Outlook’s calendar feature to create and store appointments. You’ll identify the different ways to view and use the calendar. You’ll also explore setting and viewing appointments, as well as managing, editing, and sharing these appointments. Sending email messages with file attachments lets you communicate with others using more Microsoft Outlook 2019 Lessons than just what you can type. You can share a spreadsheet for others to edit, send someone an interesting PDF file to read, or give someone a short video of yourself wishing him a happy birthday. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to add files such as word processor documents, spreadsheets, databases, or presentations along with video and audio files to your email messages.
Set up a short piece of text containing essential contact information, a tag line, or maybe an ad or quotation and insert this information in every email you send from Outlook. If you use several email accounts with Outlook, create several email signatures. By default, it gives you an unread message count, but you can make it show you a total message count instead. If you don’t want to constantly purge deleted messages from your IMAP inbox in Outlook and don’t want to see messages that should be gone, hide the messages marked for deletion from view. Forward the full email and in the state in which you received it as an EML attachment in Outlook. This preserves all the metadata of the original message, which is useful especially in troubleshooting or legal contexts.
Change the Font Size of the Outlook Message List
If you receive an email with multiple attachments, don’t save them individually. Instead, save all files attached to an email to a folder at once. Recover messages, your address book, calendar, and other essential Outlook data from a backup copy. Restore this important email information from a saved version of your PST file. If your email, contacts, and calendars are in Outlook, create a backup of that information to make sure you don’t lose it if your hard drive crashes or Outlook stops working. Create backup copies of your Personal Folders (.pst) files — the files where this information is saved.
This lesson will help you make sense of all your email messages without forcing you to scroll through a long list of messages. You’ll learn how to display, sort, and organize email messages. Since email is the most popular way to communicate with people anywhere globally, learning how to read and organize email in Outlook could be the feature you’ll use most often.
